Following the phenomenal multi platinum success of ’25 Years/ 25 Songs’, 3ú Records are delighted to announce the release of Mary Black’s new album ‘Stories from the Steeples’. Mary is back at her best with her much anticipated first studio album in 6 years! ‘Stories from The Steeples' features the hit singles ‘Marguerite and the Gambler' and the current single ‘Walkin with my Love’ with Finbar Furey (which has been donated to the Alzheimer Cafe). The album also features collaborations with Imelda May and Janis Ian. Mary is known for her commitment to original material by Irish songwriters and her unique interpretations of the songs she chooses and this album is no exception. Here Mary has included 3 songs from young Irish songwriter Danny O’Reilly.
